Anna Gong is a candidate for M.S. Marketing at the DePaul University Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. Educated in the Chinese, British, and American academic systems, Anna graduated from Knox College in 3 years with a B.A. in Chemistry with minors in Psychology and Economics. Anna has 5 years of project management and customer-relationship management experience, currently working for Cosmedent inc. as a Digital Media Strategist. Her passion is to help woman/minority-owned small-mid sized businesses engage and activate their online presence.
Anna loves road trips, typography, and weight training. She also grills a pretty good steak.
Lijuan "Annie" Wu
VP of Digital Marketing
Annie is a current graduate student in marketing analysis. Before coming to Chicago, Annie had worked for a global media agency for five years. She is the person who is taking a pause to add a new set of technical skills to her rich experience. She likes to learn the new things in practice.
In school, she does part-time work assisting faculty in the Steans Center, Political Science and Marketing Department. Outside of school, she is a volunteer for a non-profit organization in events promotion team. In addition, Annie loves traveling. She is interested in putting herself into the local culture, experiencing the local customs.
VP of Corporate Relations
Alec Brady is a current student studying Marketing and Data Analysis & Data Mining at DePaul's College of Business. Junior year of undergraduate he was apart of DePaul's 'Integrated Marketing Honors Program' that involved various consulting projects with multinational corporations. Alec has ranged marketing experience from project management to digital marketing and marketing analytics with various firms across Chicago. Alec is from the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago and has spent his 23 years living among the Midwest states. He stands firm to being an entrepreneurial minded individual with ambition to drive change in emerging markets.
Lan "Lisa" Liu
VP of Marketing Analysis
Lisa Liu, VP of Marketing Analysis, is a candidate for the M.S. Marketing Analysis at the DePaul University Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Philosophy and was trained to inquire into the nature of things based on logical reasoning and empirical methods. She is looking to learn more practical techniques to combine with her unique way of thinking and eventually apply them into market analysis. She is skilled in several programs such as SAS and R.
Lisa is now looking forward to finding an internship to sharpen her analytical abilities.
VP of Communications
Chukwudi Anyaeche is a current MBA candidate at DePaul University Kellstadt Graduate School of Business with a dual concentration in Marketing and Marketing Planning & Strategy. He received his bachelors degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Currently, Chukwudi works as an associate account manager for a marketing agency. He's fused his reporting and analytics background with strategic planning to grow advertisers within his portfolio. Upon graduation, Chukwudi plans on consulting for small businesses, while continuing to grow within the digital marketing industry.
VP of Technology
Isabel is a current part time MBA Student at DePaul. Her undergraduate studies were completed at the University of Illinois at Champaign–Urbana. She has several years marketing experience with B2B marketing and SaaS products. She is originally from Chicago and enjoys exploring new areas of the city and traveling.
VP of Professional Development
The VP of Professional Development, Mark Bilandzic, has a background in sales and is studying towards a MS degree in Marketing. Mark has aspirations to open his own business in the future, but for now would like to gain experience in the corporate world and get involved in an industry with long-term sustainability and large potential for continuous growth. Mark considers himself a right-brain thinker, but also wants to sharpen up on knowledge that is more associated with left-brain thinkers (i.e. analytics). Mark is now looking forward to finding an ideal internship to sharpen up both his creative and analytical abilities, and also to educating current members of KMG about current trends in marketing and advice about professionalism and personal development. He is very excited to work with the new board at KMG for the 2016/2017s in marketing and advice about professionalism and personal development.
VP of Membership
Jawad is currently a graduate student in Marketing Management at DePaul. He also has a bachelor degree in Marketing from the University of Business and Technology in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Jawad lived in threecountries with different cultures andlanguages and speaks Arabic, German, and English. That life of experiencing different cultures and dealing with people from multiplebackgrounds made him open for challenges and new experiences. He also has a marketing experience from working for a tourism company in his hometown Makkah.
Jawad plays classical guitar and likes to read in science, literature, poetry, and philosophy.
VP of Finance and Operations
Rubai is currently a communications student at the College of Communication, DePaul University. She is an MBA (Marketing) and has a three-year work experience in business development. She currently works as a marketing coordinator at the Adult, Veteran and Commuter Students Affairs, DePaul University. During her free time, she volunteers for a veteran organization in Chicago.

VP of Event Planning
Ran Huo, KMG’s VP of Event Planning, is currently a candidate for M.S. Marketing Analysis at DePaul University Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. He would like to strengthen both his qualitative and quantitative skills to build a solid knowledge base in the field of Marketing. With his curiosity and dedication, Ran was awarded the Master of Public Administration from Illinois Institute of Technology and the Master of Science in Marketing Management from DePaul University. In further exploring the field of Marketing, Ran has the ambition and determination to pursue a Ph.D. in Business with the concentration of Marketing. His long-term career goal is to become a Marketing professor.
Before coming to the States, Ran worked as a Marketing Specialist in a joint venture manufacturing company specifically operating in B2B channel. Events & trade shows planning was part of his job. By joining KMG, Ran has the inspiration to take KMG events to the next level.
Ran defines himself as a creative, logical, and perfectionistic kind of person. As a new board member, he is looking forward to contributing his talent and creativity to the superb student organization: The Kellstadt Marketing Group.
Dr. Zafar Iqbal
Zafar Iqbal is the Director of the Driehaus Center of International Business at DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. He is also Associate Director for Regional Initiatives at DePaul and is responsible for developing and executing DePaul’s strategy in India. Zafar earned a Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Pittsburgh, an M.S. in Industrial Relations from Iowa State University, and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT at the University of Poona, India. He teaches courses in new product development, developing sustainable business models, marketing strategy and management, and advanced consumer insights. He has taught at the MBA level at the Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand, the Czech Management Center in the Czech Republic and at the executive level at Steinbeis University in Germany. He has led international study abroad programs for DePaul students to India, Japan and the Middle East. For his teaching, he has been awarded the Lawrence W Ryan Distinguished Undergraduate Teaching Award 6 times, the DePaul University Excellence in Teaching Award 2 times, and the Gus Economos Distinguished Graduate Teaching Award 2 times.\
Zafar is also the author of business and scholarly articles which have appeared in journals such as Journal of Marketing, California Management Review, Sloan Management Review, Journal of Service Research, and Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management.
Zafar has worked in business-to-business marketing for Thermax Corporation, India. Zafar is the Principal Consultant at Erudite Consulting, which he founded in 2005. He has 15+ years of consulting experience, having worked as a consultant to various corporations, including Knowles Electronics, Terumo, Alfa Laval, Skoda, Walgreens, Motorola, Healthpoint, DHL, ISACA, Pohang Iron & Steel Company, Zenith Corporation, Credit Suisse First Boston, and the Iowa Department of Transportation.
He is the co-founder of Friends for India’s Development and Assistance (FIDA), a not-for-profit founded to educate tribal children in rural India. He is fluent in English, Hindi, Marathi, Urdu and Gujarati. He speaks German at an intermediate level, and reads Arabic at a basic level.
