Barnes & Noble/DePaul Conference Center, 8th Floor
Registration: 9:30 a.m. || Event: 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
THE NextGen MISSION: At a time when the “new normal” has forced our profession to re-evaluate its assumptions, there exist ample opportunities for the next generation of leaders to emerge. NextGen seeks to identify and explore some of those opportunities, providing real-time, functional insight from those professionals enacting change right now.
DePaul alumnus Jim Jenness, Chairman of the Board at Kellogg's, will deliver the NextGen keynote talk on the nature of marketing leadership. Mr. Jenness will call on his 30-plus years of experience as a business leader to elaborate on the key skills and traits that will help set next generation marketing leaders apart.
Further content will provide insight into the opportunities and challenges of the current business environment. NextGen panels will include discussion on the following topics:
- • Marketing from the Ground Up: The Development of the Early Marketing Plan
- • The Sustainable Advantage: Exploring the Marketing Implications of CSR
- • How Social Media is Changing the Face of Marketing
- • Culture Stock: Developing Authentic Connections for Demographic Populations
- • Now Streaming: Implications of an All Digital Media Landscape
